How to set up your account
Step 1:
Click on the button to go to the sign up page. It should have AWE Academy automatically chosen, but if it doesn’t, look for the green “Support a Group” button in the top right corner of the web page and click on it. A box will come up and you need to add the code TEHDCD into the “Enter Group Invitation Code” box. (See example below)
Once you see AWE Academy as the group, follow the prompts and fill out the form.
* If you specify the name of a currently enrolled student in the Last Name field, 50% of the amount raised by the gift card purchase will be credited toward that child’s tuition. (For example, if $50 is raised from a gift card purchase with a specified student in the last name field, $25 would be credited towards that child’s tuition)
Step 2:
Complete registration. (this will include verification via the email address you used to register)
Step 3:
Once you have verified your email, log back in and browse through the list of gift cards and select the ones you would like. Some gift cards are reloadable via the app and they will be marked as reloadable in the list of options for each retailer. Retailers will offer different percentages for different cards usually between 2% and 10%. There are also monthly specials where additional incentives are offered.
**NOTE: If you choose 4 cards or less Canada Post Standard Mail is included. For orders of 4 cards or more shipping charges may apply.
Step 4:
Set up Payment – IMPORTANT!! We recommend using EFT (electronic funds transfer) or online Bank Payment for the purchase of gift cards. Instructions for setting up payments are available at the time of purchase.
Why? The charge for paying by credit card will deduct 2.5% of the total purchase of gift cards. Some retailers only offer a 2% donation, so this would result in a negative charge for those cards. For example, a gas card may offer 2% to be donated to the school. If a credit card is used to purchase only that gas card, there would be a negative (-) 0.5% charge on the account to purchase that card. By using EFT and Online Bank Payment, you are ensuring the maximum amount of your purchase is going to support the school.
Step 5:
Your gift cards will be shipped directly to your address.
Additional Options
If there is a demand for bulk and holiday orders, periodically we will organize a bulk purchase option, where orders can be placed, paid and picked up from AWE Academy. Order sheets will be made in advance of these occasions.
